Where are you from?: I’m from Ashaiman, a town in Ghana, West Africa. A town with so many talents including me and other big acts like Stonebwoy.
How long have you been making music?: Professionally, five years now.
What are some trials and tribulations you go through as an artist?: Personally, putting out my project is a huge blow to me due to financial constraints and also, getting discovered or heard by the masses and investors or getting signed isn’t an easy deal to come by.
Do you feel like you’ve developed your sound?: Yeah, I do, because there’s a vast difference between my first record and my latest record. I’m so grateful.
Describe your musical style in three words: Versatility, Uniqueness, Live.
If you had to write a novel based on your life what would the name of it be?: Transformation Through Inspiration.
What is a quote that you were told or that you came up with that you will never forget?: “The only way to predict the future is to create it”. I’ve been in love with this quote since 2016.
What are your three biggest accomplishments up to this point?: [My top three accomplishments are] being alive, successfully graduating from university, and winning Campus Artist of the Year Award in 2021.
Who are the artists that influenced you to make music?: No artist influenced me to make music, but I’ve got mad love for Rick Ross, Drake and Sarkodie since way back!
What is some advice you’d give to an independent artist trying to develop their sound?: As an indie artist, you should keep going, learning and exploring. Never give up!
