Where are you from? Louisville, Kentucky.
How long have you been making music? I released my first single “No Rush” in 2018.
What are some trials and tribulations you go through as an artist? Marketing myself to the right people. Putting purpose to what I’m doing. You have to have a purpose.
Do you feel like you’ve developed your sound? Yes, with every song I’ve done I feel like it’s only getting better and better.
Describe your musical style in three words. Different, memorable, and sensational.
If you had to write a novel based on your life what would the name of it be? “Tears Overcame”.
What is a quote that you were told or that you came up with that you will never forget? “Dare to be Different”.
Who are the artists that influenced you to make music? Static Major, Aaliyah, Marvin Gaye (He was able to connect with people in a sexual way but can turn around with a conscious sound-he’s versatile), and Prince.
What is some advice you’d give to an independent artist trying to develop their sound? Trust in you, believe in you, and don’t ever feel like you have to be guilted into what corporate America designs musicians to look and sound like. Always be you.
